Children of Israel – May 23

Life was hard and it was about to get harder. The Children of Israel once were respected relatives of Joseph, but now, years later, another Pharaoh had enslaved them. They worked long hours. They felt the taskmasters whip on their backs. Their baby boys were being killed. Many had compromised their faith in the Lord and no longer believed that He could help them.

But then, in a few short weeks, everything changed. Moses and Aaron arrived with a message from the Lord. Pharaoh got angrier and harsher. The plagues began to fall. And then, at the end of a 430 year time prophecy, to the very day (Exodus 12:40-41), the entire group of 600,000 families left Egypt!

Throughout history, whenever the Lord enters into a covenant with His people (e.g. Noah’s family, Children of Israel, Early Church, Remnant Church) He does mighty things FOR them so that He can do mighty things for the world THROUGH them. We invite you to take a three-month journey with us as we look at God’s Movements in History and His final movement on earth today!
